The Region 10 Grand Lodge Officers Association met at the Canberra Southern Cross Yacht Club on Friday 21 August 2009 to celebrate the transition of Regional Grand Counsellors. Twenty two Grand Lodge officers and two 20/20 Masons – Bros Simon Hruza and Alex Slater – were present at the lunch.
After an excellent two course meal, VW Bro Geoff Ludowyk PDGIW commenced the formalities by introducing RW Bro Michael Dalton PJGW, the outgoing RGC, who discoursed on some of the achievements of his term. He in turn introduced RW Bro Bob Perriman PAGM, the inaugural RGC for Region 10. Bob entertained the group with his reminiscences of his term and of those who followed him, before introducing our current RGC – RW Bro Graham Charlton PSGW. Graham thanked those present for their attendance and went on to outline his plans for his term.
A goodly number of Grand Lodge officers had previously tendered their apologies owing to prior commitments; but their chance will come as Graham plans to make these RGLOA lunches a regular fixture on the Masonic calendar.
Our thanks go to Michael Dalton for his foresight and effort in organising this event. To download and save any of the photos in the slideshow below, please click on the title of the photo to take you to the photo page.
