Work is progressing on schedule with the 6th floor slab due to be poured on Tuesday 4th August. This will be the final slab and will mark the second major milestone in the building construction. Safety screens are being raised as the floor slabs are added.
The building facade will then be added and the profile of the building will start to take shape. All trades have now been let and detailed aspects of the construction have commenced.
Some of the latest pics show the work now in progress in the underground carparks with electrical, mechanical and plumbing being prominent.
It is expected that the roof structural steel and roofing on the 6th floor will be in place by the end of August.
Our Leasing Agents gave the latest briefing to the CMC Board meeting on 22nd July and detailed the progress being made to secure commercial tenants for the building. A number of potential clients have indicated their interest and the Board continues to see a positive outcome from these negotiations.
We will continue to inform everyone as to the latest events in the construction program and any breaking news will be added as it occurs.
