Chairman's Report
We are progressing well with the construction and are managing to claw back some of the earlier lost time due to the blue stone having to be cleared before construction of the underground car parks could commence.
It is intended that the ground level slab will be poured late May and all will be ready for the "Stone setting ceremony" on the 6th June. Attendees at that ceremony will be able to stand on the ground floor slab to witness the Grand Team and Grand Master "set" the foundation stone.
The details of the celebration dinner on the night of the 6th June will be published as soon as they are finalised in the next day or so. The closing of bookings will be Wednesday the 27th May, so your earliest attention to this booking will be essential if you want to be present on this historic occasion.
Without swamping the Builder with your presence, anyone who wants to visit the site is invited to see for themsleves the on-going construction. Once the lower carparks are complete the above ground structure will start to appear.
Advice from our leasing agents continues to be positive with the next milestone being the release of the Federal Government's budget in May. We will have a clearer picture of the potential Government department lessors once the budget has been announced. We wait patiently for this to unfold.
