An annual prize (currently $250) which is awarded to the student at the Canberra Institute of Technology who excels in the subject English as a Second Language.

Canberra's Lodges are rostered on each Saturday morning to maintain the gardens at the Pearce ACT Masonic Village

Canberra's Lodges are rostered on each Sunday afternoon to cater for and feed the needy at the Griffin Community Centre in the City

Organising and raising funds to support the Grand Master's Annual Christmas Appeal. CDMA raised $3,500 for the 2008 Appeal and $1,500 for the 2009 appeal. The funds were used locally in Canberra to supply and distribute hampers to families in need through Barnardo's Australia.

Lodge Taralga and masoniCare combined to present Sunset Lodge Aged Care at Taralga with funds for the purchase of a backup power generator to cater for mains power blackouts

Lodge Federal Burrowa 193 raised $20,980.20 (including a $10,000 masoniCare grant) towards a softball project at Bunyip Preschool

Goulburn's Lodges raised $2,000 (including a masoniCare interaction grant of $1,000) to enable Endeavour Industries—a not for profit charity—to upgrade its facilities to comply with fire regulations

Lodge of Truth 26 (Braidwood) donated $4,610 in 2009—$2,000 to the Braidwood Preschool; $860 towards the defensive driving course for young Braidwood drivers; $500 to the Braidwood education Foundation; $400 each to Braidwood Care and Braidwood St Vincent de Paul; $350 to Braidwood MPS; and $100 to Braidwood Community Radio.

Lodge Perfect of Canberra 951 has raised $4,000 for the ACT Palliative Care Society. This has been matched by a $4,000 interAction grant from masoniCare

$3,520 raised by the Lodge of Truth Braidwood 26 from its South ($1,000) and a wood raffle ($2,520) towards the Victorian Bushfire Appeal
- A $1,300 masoniCare interAction grant to match the funds being raised by the Region towards the Stewart House project
- A $2,000 masoniCare interAction grant to match the funds being raised by CDMA towards the Hippotherapy project being conducted by Pegasus Riding for the Disabled and the Spastic Centre of the ACT and Southern Districts
- A $4,000 masoniCare interAction grant to match the funds being raised by Lodge Perfect of Canberra 951 for the ACT Palliative Care Society
- A $2,000 masoniCare Young Achiever Award to Katy Tomkins of the ACT
- A $1,800 masoniCare interAction grant to match funds raised by the Canberra Districts Masonic Association to support the pilot 'Hippotherapy' project run by the Spastic Centre of ACT and Southern Districts
- A $5,000 masoniCare regional grant to support the Currawarna Home for the Aged, Bombala
- A $5,000 masoniCare regional grant to support Sailability ACT in staging the 2008 Australian Access Class Championships and International Regatta
- A $3,500 masoniCare interAction grant to match funds raised by Lodge Perfect of Canberra 951 in support of the ACT Palliative Care Society
- A $1,800 masoniCare interAction grant to match funds raised by The Goulburn Lodge of Australia 58 in support of the Goulburn Base Hospital
- a $5,000 masoniCare interAction grant to match funds raised by Lodge Capitol 612 towards the cost of a new bus for Malkara Special School
- $3,760 raised by Canberra masons for the Grand Master's Christmas Appeal. The funds provided 80 hampers of non perishable foodstuffs to families in need, distributed through Barnardo's Australia
- A $5,000 masoniCare regional grant to Visually Impaired Sports ACT (VISACT) to sponsor a team to the National Blind Cricket Championships in Victoria.
