CDMA undertakes a number of fund raising, charitable and administrative activities—the recurrent ones being to:
  • produce the annual printed Masonic Diary, covering all masonic orders in the region
  • produce the monthly Masonic Worksheet of Craft and Chapter activities
  • roster Canberra's lodges to provide a weekly garden maintenance service to the Pearce Masonic Village; and to provide, cook and serve food to Canberra's needy every Sunday evening at the Griffin Centre, an ACT Government community facility
  • organise the Grand Master's Christmas Appeal for Canberra and Queanbeyan, in recent years in conjunction with Barnardos ACT
  • organise the Association's annual ANZAC tribute, which was hosted this year by the Yass Lodge of Concord 27
  • organise and run fund raising sausage sizzles through the generous facilities provided by the Bunnings stores in Canberra
  • organise and run fund raising dances such as the popular 'Swing Back 2 Swing Bash'
  • liaise with masoniCare to obtain interACTION grants in aid of local charities.
